1. Who we are

Privado is an independent private jet charter broker. We do not own or operate aircraft. We source and arrange flights on your behalf through licensed, independently certified air carriers.

That distinction matters for your privacy, because arranging a flight necessarily means passing your trip details to the operators who quote and fly it. Section 4 explains exactly what that involves.

This policy covers the website at flyprivado.com and the quote requests submitted through it.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you complete the quote request form, we collect only the fields on that form:

The notes field is free text. Please include only what is relevant to arranging your flight. We do not ask for, and you should not send, payment card numbers, passport or government identification numbers, or health information through this form.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our analytics provider records aggregate, non-identifying information such as the pages viewed, the referring site, approximate country, and general device and browser type. This does not identify you personally.

When you submit the form, our server briefly processes your IP address for abuse prevention. It is stored only in hashed form, purely to count recent submissions from the same connection, and it is discarded within ten minutes. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

3. How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

We will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a quote request alone. If we ever introduce a newsletter or marketing emails, we will ask you to opt in first.

4. Who we share it with

Aircraft operators

To source your quote we share the details of your trip, meaning the route, dates, passenger count and any relevant requirements, with licensed operators in our network. Where a booking proceeds, the operating carrier will also need passenger names and any information required for flight, customs and security purposes.

Each operator is an independent company and handles your information under its own privacy policy and its own legal obligations as an air carrier. We share what is needed to quote or fly your trip, and no more.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run this site, described in section 6. They process information only as needed to provide their service.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, regulation, subpoena or a lawful request from a government or aviation authority, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.

Business transfer

If Privado is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We would take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected under terms consistent with this policy.

5. Analytics and cookies

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. We chose it deliberately over more invasive alternatives.

Because this analytics does not set cookies or track you across sites, we do not show a cookie consent banner for it. You can read the Ahrefs privacy policy for details.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers or retargeting tools on this site.

The spam protection on our form (see section 6) is provided by a third party and may set a cookie or store a token on your device as part of verifying that you are a person rather than a bot. This is a strictly functional security measure.

6. Third-party services

The pages on this site load resources from the following third parties. Each receives your IP address as a technical necessity of serving that resource to your browser.

7. How long we keep it

If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will do so.

8. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. Our form applies validation, rate limiting and spam protection, and is built to prevent common attacks such as mail header injection. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to do their work.

We should be straightforward with you: no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This is also why we ask you not to send identification numbers, payment details or health information through the website form.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Canadian residents have these rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Residents of other regions, including the EU, UK and certain US states, may hold comparable rights under their own laws.

To exercise any of these, contact us through the quote form and say what you would like. We may need to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Where your information goes

Privado arranges flights across Canada, the United States and internationally. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own, including by operators located at your departure or destination, and by the service providers listed in section 6.

Privacy laws in those countries may differ from your own, and information held there may be accessible to local courts and authorities under their laws. We share only what is needed to quote or arrange your flight.

11. Children

This site is intended for adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Where a booking includes minors travelling in your party, any details you provide about them are handled under this policy and shared only as needed to arrange and operate the flight.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top of the page. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to highlight them. Please check back from time to time.

13. How to contact us

For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your information, please use the quote request form and describe what you need. It reaches the same team.

We do not publish an email address or phone number on this site, which keeps them out of the hands of automated scrapers. The form is monitored and we reply by email.
